Grechetto (Greh-ketto), Glera (Gleh-rah)
This extra dry fully sparkling wine is dedicated to Mr. Gisberto Goretti, one of the founders of Goretti winery. The wine is made in a similar style to Prosecco and even has Glera, the grape of Prosecco, blended into it. Extra dry can be a slightly misleading term and refers to a dry to off dry sweetness level making this perfect for sipping on its own or mixed into a cocktail. The Gentleman is fruity and refreshing and pairs well with cheese & charcuterie, fresh fruit, seafood, pizza, chicken, and fish.
The Goretti winery is currently operated by its 3rd generation. The estate is located in the hilly area outside of Perugia, Umbria and features a 14th century tower that has become the emblem of Goretti. Their belief is that the quality of the wines is never the result of improvisation, but of a deep knowledge of land, climate, and production processes.
