The name Franciacorta (‘Fran-cha-kor-tah’) refers to both the name of a wine and the area where it is produced. The region is located about an hour east of Milan on the shores of Lake Iseo with the Italian Alps as a backdrop. Franciacorta is a traditional method sparkling wine with distinctive character, making it a rival to Champagne!
100% Chardonnay, this silky wine displays notes of apple, tangerine, peach, mineral, and herb with brioche on the finish.
